The Diag Decarbon’action is a national program co-managed by Bpifrance, ADEME, and the Association for Low-Carbon Transition (ABC). It helps SMEs and mid-caps partially fund their Carbon Footprint assessment and structure a low-carbon roadmap.
Goal: To make it easier for companies to commit to the ecological transition by providing methodological guidance and financial support.
This program supports companies through 3 main stages:
Everything is overseen by an accredited expert.
To qualify for the Diag Decarbon’action, your company must meet the following criteria:
✅ Be a company with fewer than 500 employees
✅ Have not conducted a GHG assessment in the last 5 years
✅ Have been in business for at least one year
The program is co-funded by Bpifrance and ADEME, covering:
💸 40% of the costs
The remaining balance is covered by the company, but the return on investment is quick thanks to identifying areas for savings (energy, procurement, logistics, etc.).
The support spans 12 working days, spread over 6 to 8 months. Here is the breakdown of the steps:
- Calculation of Scope 1, 2, and 3 GHG emissions
- Collecting and analyzing activity data
- Defining a low-carbon trajectory
- Prioritizing high-impact reduction actions
- Launching initial concrete actions
- Raising awareness and engaging employees
