Mend’s has been awarded the EcoVadis Gold Medal! 🥇
Mend’s is a family-owned business based in Essonne, specializing in beverage and snack vending. With a turnover of €14 million, the company operates throughout the Île-de-France region and employs 120 people.
Mend’s was supported by our CSR project manager, Bertille.
Mend’s pursued EcoVadis certification at the request of a client. The company also decided to conduct a Carbon Footprint assessment to identify its primary emission factors.
To meet the requirements for EcoVadis certification, Altopi and Mend’s structured and formalized the company’s CSR approach according to EcoVadis criteria. Going beyond just completing the questionnaire, Mend’s conducted a Carbon Footprint assessment to identify its main greenhouse gas emission sources and produced a CSR Report to serve as a roadmap for its commitment.
Altopi helped structure Mend’s CSR strategy by, among other things:
- Drafting an employee welcome handbook
- Raising CSR awareness among teams through online training
- Analyzing coffee ground disposal and exploring potential solutions for optimizing waste treatment and recycling
- Drafting a CSR Report
- Studying the potential integration of new local suppliers
- Studying the potential implementation of new transport methods to reduce greenhouse gas emissions

Mend’s is continuing its commitment and is now implementing the high-impact actions needed to reach the goals set in its new roadmap and prepare for next year’s EcoVadis assessment.
