The first step to getting an EcoVadis assessment is to register on the platform.

After registering, EcoVadis creates a dedicated profile that gives you access to the platform and resources. You will need to choose a subscription plan to start your EcoVadis assessment.
EcoVadis offers several subscription levels based on your company's size, needs, and goals.
Carbon Rating: To evaluate your company's carbon performance, the "Carbon Rating" subscription gives you access to the EcoVadis "Carbon Calculator." This offer is only available by partner invitation. However, it is included in all subscriptions except for the "Basic" plan.
Basic: A subscription to get started and understand your CSR performance. This plan provides access to the personalized EcoVadis questionnaire, a scorecard, and your CSR rating. This subscription does not allow you to share your results with your stakeholders. You will not have access to your medal and cannot share your results outside of the EcoVadis network. The e-learning path is also limited to the introductory course and 3 users.
Premium: This is the subscription chosen by most of our clients. It allows for unlimited sharing of your results and gives you access to your medal or badge image. You can then communicate your EcoVadis results. You also get access to a detailed report on your ESG performance.
You can also assess up to 5 business partners. The Premium subscription allows you to compare your company's carbon emissions with those of your industry.
The subscription includes Carbon Rating features.
Select: The Select subscription includes all the features of the Premium and Carbon Rating plans. It also includes pre-filling of your questionnaire using public documents, an orientation call, and dedicated support. Your assessment is prioritized.
It allows you to assess up to 10 business partners. The Select subscription provides access to the e-learning platform for 50 users.
Corporate: This subscription is recommended for groups that manage multiple entities. It provides access to all Premium and Carbon Rating features. It makes sharing documents between entities easier and offers a discount on the subscription for each entity.
Once your registration is confirmed and your subscription is selected, EcoVadis generates a tailored questionnaire. This questionnaire is customized based on:

The EcoVadis questionnaire is based on four main themes, each broken down into subcategories:
Every company must provide tangible evidence to support its commitments in these areas. These documents can include certifications (ISO 14001, SA 8000), internal policies, or audit reports.
⚠️ Evidence limit: You can submit up to 55 supporting documents. Smart evidence optimization is essential to maximize your score. It is best to select the most relevant and up-to-date documents to effectively demonstrate compliance with EcoVadis requirements.
Once your documents are submitted, EcoVadis experts analyze and evaluate each piece of evidence based on specific criteria. This evaluation considers:
The experts then assign a comprehensive, detailed score, allowing your company to identify its strengths and areas for improvement.
After the analysis is complete, the company receives a scorecard that includes:
Depending on the score achieved, the company may receive a medal:
🏆 Platinum: Top 1% (99th percentile or higher)
🥇 Gold : Top 5% (95th percentile or higher)
🥈 Silver : Top 15% (85th percentile or higher)
🥉 Bronze : Top 35% (65th percentile or higher)
These awards help highlight the company's CSR commitment to its partners and clients.
💡The medal is inscribed with the date the assessment was completed. You will need to re-engage with EcoVadis regularly to prove to your stakeholders that your company is continuously working to improve its CSR performance. Furthermore, because EcoVadis evaluation criteria evolve, your results may not be the same from one year to the next. It is therefore important to integrate your CSR strategy into a process of continuous improvement.
EcoVadis awards badges to recognize company commitment:
🎖️ Committed : Minimum score of 45, indicating "satisfactory" performance according to the EcoVadis methodology.
🎖️ Fast Mover : Score between 34 and 44 with an improvement of at least 6 points compared to the previous assessment over an 18-month period.
📌Note : A company that has been awarded an EcoVadis medal is not eligible for a badge.
If the score obtained is not satisfactory, the company can implement a corrective action plan to improve its rating for future assessments.
