The Secret Santa concept: Each team member draws a colleague's name and gets them a small Christmas gift. The zero-waste version means skipping the store-bought items and instead gifting something you no longer use or making a DIY present! 🤗
If you're stuck for ideas, you'll love these suggestions:
- Candles are a classic for a reason! All you need is wax (beeswax or soy), wicks, and essential oils. You can make them for Secret Santa, for your own home, or even as gifts for your loved ones!
- A big bowl of cookies or shortbread! You can't go wrong with this one! 🍪
- Homemade soap! You'll find plenty of DIY tutorials online. It's pretty simple, requires just a few ingredients, and like the candles, you can make extra for yourself and your friends 🙂
- DIY organic cosmetics with next to nothing: Did you know rice water can repair hair? Yes, you read that right! Boil rice in plenty of water until it gets mushy, blend the mixture, and you've got a hair treatment that works wonders! (Promise) 🌸
- Give an experience! Movie tickets, an escape room, a show, a massage...
If you really have nothing on hand, you can always go with:
- Second-hand gifts! Books, electronics, clothes, shoes, bags—there's plenty to choose from!
- Buy gifts that last and promote a zero-waste lifestyle 🌱 Like bamboo toothbrushes, beeswax wraps, solid shampoos and soaps, etc.

Easier said than done? Not at all! Thanks to the "Eco-friendly Christmas Tree" team building by @Carton Lune, it’s super simple.
In small teams, colleagues roll up their sleeves to build a cardboard Christmas tree together, decorated with fairy lights.
Beyond being a fun bonding activity, you end up with a large, beautiful, eco-friendly tree! And just like that, your office is ready for the holidays 🎄
So, forget the traditional tree and check out the Carton Lune website 👉🏻 https://urlz.fr/h52X
Put together gift boxes for the homeless with your whole team!
But how do you do it? Who do you give them to? What goes inside? We’ve got all the answers! Pay attention, the last tip is very important 👀
1. Organize a collection
Each team member clears out their cupboards and selects:
- Warm clothing: gloves, scarves, sweaters, socks, hats, wallets, bags... 🧤
- A book, comic, or game they no longer want 📚
- Something tasty: canned goods, candy, cookies, chocolates, candied fruit, applesauce... 🍪
- Pet owners can include treats, small bags of kibble, or pet toys... 🐶
- Don't forget the kids: include a toy like a card game, puzzle, doll, children's book, stuffed animal, or hygiene products like baby wipes or soap... 🧸
Everyone needs to find one or more shoeboxes 📦
One or more team members can buy or make toiletries and accessories: toothpaste, toothbrush, soap, shampoo, deodorant, hairbrush, makeup kits, cologne... 🧼
2. Start your Christmas team building and assemble the boxes
1️⃣ Gather all the books, clothes, and food, and distribute them into the shoeboxes.
2️⃣ Each team member writes a comforting note to tuck inside the boxes.
3️⃣ Collect all the boxes and take them to a drop-off point. There are many all over France. You can take them to the Restos du Cœur.
💡 One last tip: Do not wrap the boxes. The organizations collecting them need to check the contents and will have to tear the paper. For boxes containing pet supplies or items for children, please label them clearly.
Create Christmas wreaths using living plants! It’s a fun and relaxing activity offered by @The Green Lab! 🤩
Combine nature and team bonding with this original team-building activity. The magic of Christmas will last longer since participants take their wreaths home to decorate doors and tables, or even to give as gifts 😊
We know not everyone has a green thumb, but don't panic—the wreaths are made from perennials and succulents, so they don't require much maintenance and last a long time 🌵
